Arctic Air Poised To Enter NM.

At noontime the arctic cold front was poised to move into Northwestern New Mexico. Temperatures around the state at 1 PM MST, ranged from 36 at Taos, 37 at Farmington, 39 at Gallup, to 75 at Carlsbad. 

To give you an idea of just how cold this approaching arctic airmass is, most reporting stations in Montana, at 1 PM MST, have temps that range from -10 to around 10. 

Southwesterly winds have been kicking up as predicted. As of 1 PM MST the following gusts have been recorded.
