Blowing Dust In SE NM - Severe T-Storms In West Texas Today.

Severe Weather In The Plains Today.

Valid @ 18Z/Noon MDT Today.

The past couple of mornings have been rather foggy here in southeastern New Mexico. This will be the case once again today in parts of the local area. But the main story will be a chance for scattered severe thunderstorms along and east of the dry line across West Texas. Locally we will be dealing with strong gusty southwesterly winds (gusting up to 40-45 mph) along with areas of blowing dust. We got lucky and escaped the winds in March but it appears that April will make up for that. Our highs today will be in the mid-upper 80's.

The Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction!
