Notice the difference in Artesia's, Lake Avalon's, and the Potash Mines (just east of Carlsbad) snowfall totals. Since considerable drifting was reported its hard to know which snowfall amount is correct. The 20" reported at the Potash Mines makes more sense that the 7" at Lake Avalon and the 6" at Artesia because its closer to the totals that were reported in the Roswell, Tatum, Lovington, and Hobbs areas. In my opinion anyway.
Tatum 15.3"/10"/5°F
Lovington 15.0"/M/5°F
Hobbs 21.2"/16"/7°F
