Supercell Thunderstorm Produces Flash Flooding WSW Of Hagerman.

A supercell thunderstorm dropped heavy rain that produced localized flash flooding on the Rio Felix normally dry arroyo and along New Mexico St. Hwy 13, 7 miles west of the junction of U.S. Hwy 285, or about 13 miles west-southwest of Hagerman, located in southern Chaves County on Saturday, May 11, 2024, around 6:00 PM MDT.

Radar estimated 2.00” to 2.50” of rainfall fell in this area. It may have been more than this.
