Cap Clouds & Camping In The Lincoln National Forest.

Observed Several Cap (Pileus) Clouds Come & Go Saturday.

Four days and three nights camping at the Bluff Springs Camp Ground in the Lincoln National Forest without: A phone, TV, Internet, Radar, My Web Page, Fox News, or a Radio. Woke up to the sound of a thunderstorm in the wee hours of Sunday morning...in a tent. Poured rain on us Sunday night. And the world and all of its craziness carried on anyway.
Started each day with the chirping of the birds and camp coffee. Diane heard an owl several times. Humming birds galore. Ended each day with good friends sitting around a campfire sharing a few laughs and stories, s'mores, and drinks. Need to do this more often and with our kids and grand babies! First time camping in five years.

The Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction!
