My wife and I went back to Boston to visit her family and friends this past week. We also toured Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts to check out the world famous fall foliage. We are officially a "Leaf Peepers". Something I've wanted to do all of my life. Scratch this one off of my bucket list!
Our first stop was at Squam Lake near Ashland, New Hampshire. This is also the site of the 1981 classic movie "On Golden Pond" staring Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn. The photos above we taken at Squam Lake using my Canon EOS Rebel T3i camera. The photos are beautiful but I can tell that the colors of the leaves and even more stunning and vibrant than this in person. We could not have picked a better time if we had wanted to...the trees in New Hampshire were at their peak. Everything I've always heard about the fall foliage in New England is true and then some.
The Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction!
