highest snow total we've found so far is 48" near Deadwood, SD.

HRRR Forecast Temps At 5 PM MDT This Afternoon.

WRF/NAM Forecast Temps At 7 AM MDT Sunday.

As has been forecast for the past several days a strong cold front entered southeastern New Mexico just after midnight last night. North to northeasterly winds gusted up to 25 - 40 mph along and behind the frontal passage. These gusty winds will die down by this afternoon. Today will be much cooler with most of our afternoon high temps only rising up into the 60's to near 70.

By sunrise tomorrow morning we will have experienced the coldest morning of the fall season. Our low temps are forecast to drop down into the 30's to near 40. Some of us in the normally colder locations may flirt with our first freeze of the season.
