Back To The 100's.

Valid At 6 AM MDT Wednesday, June 3, 2020.

Scattered thunderstorms popped up yesterday afternoon. Radar estimated 1.93" of rain may have fallen northeast of Hondo. I suspect this may be a little high due to some hail contamination in the radar returns. Measured rainfall totals reported as of 5 AM MDT this morning include .41" measured by a Personal Weather Station (PWS) in Mayhill and .27" measured in northern Roswell. The Sierra Blanca Regional Airport northeast of Ruidoso measured .14" and the Artesia Airport .10".

Hot Weather Returns.

Today.

Thursday.

Friday.

Roswell.

Carlsbad.

Sierra Blanca Regional Airport.

Forecast highs today in SE NM are expected to be in the upper 90's. The low 100's return Thursday into the first of next week.
