Enjoy Saturday's Cool Temps - They Won't Last.

An early taste of summertime temperatures is coming next week. High temperatures will be seasonably mild on Saturday with highs in the 50's 60's, and near 70 in the mountains with the upper 70's to near 80 across the Southeastern Plains of New Mexico.

Come Monday our high temperatures are forecast to soar up into the upper 90's. A few spots very well may hit the century mark for the first time this year. Daily record highs look to be tied or possibly broken across the local area Monday and Tuesday and maybe again next Friday.

Thunderstorms could possibly return next weekend but that's too far away to be sure for now.

The Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction!
