NWS NDFD Forecast High Temp/Anomalies Today.

Roswell managed to top out at 82ºF Thursday afternoon. High temperatures this afternoon will be similar to yesterdays with readings ranging from the upper 70's to near 80's across the southeastern plains and parts of West Texas. These temperatures will be some 15º above normal for the date.

A strong winter storm is forecast to impact the state the first of next week. Its too early yet for the details but significant snows for many parts of the state look possible. Snow may also fall across the Southeastern Plains and perhaps even a few thunderstorms. More on this later this weekend.
