This winter so far will go down as one of the least snowy on record for the Sacramento Mountains. The Cloudcroft CoCoRaHS Station, located 0.4 miles east-southeast, has recorded a season total of 29.0" thus far. The Cloudcroft National Weather Service Climate Co-Op Station has recorded 22.0". Looking at all of the records available at Cloudcroft (1900 - 2025), this season so far has been the 11th driest as far as snowfall is concerned. Compare this winter season with 1914-1915 when they recorded 180.1" of snowfall. March 1915 saw 56.9" of snowfall, making it the snowiest month of that season. The 1957-1958 winter season comes in as a very close second with 180.0". March 1958 saw 82.0" of snowfall. Normal seasonal snowfall (Oct 1 -Apr 30) for Cloudcroft is 66.7".
