Day Trip To The Southern Sacramento Mtn's Of NM - 8-16-2014.

While I was checking out the scenery and clouds (above) my wife Diane
was checking out the wildlife (below).

We first stopped at Runyan Ranches  to visit and see the babies. Then
we took the southern route along NM State Hwy 24 from Dunken into
Weed. From there we headed up Cox Canyon on NM State Hwy 130
back into Cloudcroft, and into La Luz Canyon along US Hwy 82.

It has been a wet summer for the Sacramento Mountains. New Mexico
CoCoRaHS Station NM-OT-35 located 4.9 miles northeast of Cloudcroft
has measured 17.96" of precipitation so far this year. CoCORaHS Station
NM-OT-76 located 2.8 miles west-northwest of Mayhill has measured 12.52"
of precipitation so far this year.
