June Is Living Up To Its Reputation.
So many summers the month of June ends up being our hottest month of the year...when you daily high temperatures. This is normal because the annual summer monsoon usually does not kick in until late June or the first couple of weeks of July. The air is dry with single digit and teen relative humidity values daily. Unless the dryline is actively wobbling back and forth out of West Texas into the local area.
The southwestern desert heat ridge has been hanging around the Four-Corners area for the past couple of weeks and will continue to wobble this area around for the next couple of weeks. Until it dislodges itself and re-centers further to the east of us monsoon won't quick off.
(So Far This June).
The Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction!
