NWS Skywarn Recognition Day Dec 4, 2010.

Chaves County Skywarn Storm Spotter Jim Tucker (KB0QNW), and Eddy County Skywarn Storm Spotter Glenn Smith (KE5IDX), toured the Albuquerque New Mexico, National Weather Service Office, this past Saturday.

Meteorologist Tim Shy hosted their tour of the office, and explained some of the equipment and computers that the Meteorologist use, in their daily assessment of New Mexico's weather.

Here are the two links (You Tube) to the video that Jim Tucker shot of that visit.
Good job Tim, Jim, and Glenn.

  1. Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
