Updated Rainfall Totals As Of 4:30 PM MDT Wednesday, July 17, 2013.

Last Chance Arroyo, 16 Miles West Of Carlsbad, NM @ 1:30 PM MDT This Afternoon.




Here are the radar estimated rainfall totals across the area courtesy of the Midland National Weather Service Dual Pol Doppler Radar...utilizing the GRLevel3.200 software imagery. Take the estimated rainfall totals shown for your area in images #1 and #3, then subtract the radar correction amount by using images #2 and #4.

As of 4:30 PM MDT National Weather Service Co-Op Observer/Rancher Lisa Doyal had measured 2.60" of rain at her ranch, which is located 16 miles west of Carlsbad on Dark Canyon Rd. 

So far today I have measured 1.34" of rain here at my home in Carlsbad. Ad of 3 PM MDT this afternoon the Carlsbad Airport ASOS had measured 1.82". The Bat Draw Raws located at the Carlsbad Caverns Visitor Center has measured 2.79".
