A weak cold front is forecast to drop south down the eastern plains of New Mexico today. Thus our afternoon high temps today will be a few degrees cooler than those of yesterday. Our highs today will range from the mid 70's to near 80. Similar readings are forecast for Monday. These readings will still be some 15-20 degrees above normal.

Our next weather maker will arrive mid week as another cold front drops south into the local area and interacts with a cut off upper level low over the Baja Region. The models are struggling with this system so how much rain and snow will fall is still questionable at this time. The snow levels look to be fairly high with this next storm also.
