NWS Midland 24-Hour Estimated Rainfall Totals.
Looking at the two snapshots above its pretty easy to see where the heaviest rains occurred yesterday into early this morning. Unfortunately it appears that the radar was way over estimating these rainfall totals once again. Cut these values in half and you will be closer to reality according to measured reports from across the area.
