30"s Tonight - 90 Saturday?

Valid @ 6 PM MDT Saturday.

Valid @ 6 PM MDT Saturday.

A fast moving late season cold front barreled southward down the eastern plains of New Mexico and into southeastern New Mexico yesterday afternoon and evening. Northerly wind gusts of 50+ mph were clocked. Areas of blowing dust were also noted. Cooler air has settled in over the region so lows Friday morning will be in the 30's. Contrast this with our forecast high temperatures in the mid-upper 80's for Saturday. Carlsbad's latest NWS forecast calls for our first 90-degree day.
