Stronger Cold Front - Better Chances For T-Storms Friday.

Looking SE On Refinery Rd - SE Of Carlsbad, NM Yesterday.

Friday.

Saturday.

Valid @ 6 PM MDT Friday.

A second and stronger cold front is forecast to enter the local area Friday. Interestingly enough this mornings 12Z/6 AM MDT run of the NAM-WRF model gets rather energetic with the local storm total rainfall amounts by around sunset Friday. How about localized totals of 1.50" to 3.50"? Works for me.

Forecast highs on Friday in SE NM 85°F to 90°F. Highs on Saturday behind the cold front 70°F to 80°F. I love September in New Mexico. Notice the forecast rainfall totals around what will likely be Tropical Depression Linda on Friday.

The Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction!
