Lots Of Snow Still On The Ground In Carlsbad & Southeastern New Mexico. I Took These Yesterday Afternoon (Jan 4, 2016). Some Drifts In Town Are Still As High As Two Feet. Patches Of Bare Ground Are Showing Up. In Part Due To The High Winds During The Blizzard Scouring The Snow In Places And Leaving The Ground Bare.
