Utilizing Radar And Satellite Estimates .

And Reported Rainfall Totals.

(As Of 8 AM MDT Sunday, July 7th, 2019).

I used a combination of what fell yesterday ending at midnight last night and what has fallen as of 8 AM MDT this Sunday morning. The red totals I painted on the maps indicate the 24-hour rainfall totals reported by these stations.

(As Of 9 AM MDT Sunday, July 7th, 2019).

Wide spread light to moderate rain fell over just about the entire southeastern one third of New Mexico yesterday afternoon and overnight. As is the case so many times the heaviest totals fell in rural areas (generally ranging from 1" - 4") and missing the populated areas.

Dell City reported 2.11" while 1.57" was measured near 2 miles south-southwest of Arabella. The Carlsbad Airport measured .91" and the Hidalgo Gas Plant located 18 miles west of Orla, Texas picked up .90" along with a thunderstorm wind gust to 59 mph at 5:46 PM MDT Saturday afternoon.

(As Of 9:20 AM MDT Sunday, July 7th, 2019).
