Meteorological Spring begins March 1st but our high temperatures today into the weekend will be more spring-like than winter-like across southeastern New Mexico and west Texas. Our afternoon highs will be some 15 - 25 degrees above normal. New daily record high temperatures will be possible.

Highs today will range from 76 in Roswell, 77 in Hobbs, 81 in Artesia, and 83 in Carlsbad
Highs on Saturday will range from 83 in Hobbs, 84 in Roswell, and 88 in Artesia and Carlsbad.
Highs on Sunday will range from 86 in Roswell and Hobbs, to 89 in Artesia, and 91 in Carlsbad.
