While the Northeastern one third of the nation shivers and digs out from the latest winter storm and blizzard the local area is forecast to heat up tomorrow. With our afternoon high temperatures forecast to reach the upper 80's to the low 90's across the lower elevations of Southeastern New Mexico and West Texas, many of us will come close to tying or breaking our daily record high temperatures for the date. Our highs tomorrow will run some 15 to 20 degrees above normal for the date.
