Early Summer-like Heat Wave Continues.
4 PM MDT RTMA Temperatures Friday. Regional Reported High Temperatures Friday. Preliminary Reported Record High Temperatures Friday. NWS NDFD Forecast High Temperatures. Today- Saturday. Sunday. Monday. An early summer-like heat wave is underway across the region and will continue into the first of next week. Yesterday the Roswell Airport officially topped out at 101º breaking their record high of 97º set in 2012. The Artesia Airport reached 99º as did the Carlsbad Airport which tied their record high for the date of 99º set in 2009. The Hobbs Airport also reached 99º which broke their record high for the date of 95º set in 2013. Other daily record highs were broken or tied across New and I will post those at a later date when they become available. The Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction!
