Chilly Today - 90's By Saturday.

Check out the wide range of high temps across the area yesterday afternoon. Highs ranged from the 30's in the Clovis area, to the 40's in the Tatum, Lovington, and Hobbs area, to the 50's in the Roswell and Artesia area, to the 60's in the Carlsbad area, and the 70's west of the Sacramento mountains. Sadly we missed out on the rain. So onward with the third year of the current drought...bummer.

Another chilly day for SE NM with a warming trend commencing by Thursday. Saturday's forecast high temp in Carlsbad, New Mexico is 94F. Gotta love our wild April temperature swings.

Next storm is due...

GFS 500 MB Forecast @ 3 PM MDT Tuesday, April, 9, 2013.

Looks like our next storm will roll into the state by around next Tuesday. Its April and the severe weather season is off to a good start in Texas. Looks like the dryline may light up again early next week.

The Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction!
