-17°F at Eagle Nest this AM was the coldest they have been this early in a season since 11/10/1950 when the mercury dipped to -20°F. #nmwx

Snow Depth Monday Morning.

Not only was Monday the coldest morning of the season thus far but many of us saw our first snow. I measured 0.6" of snowfall here at our home in Carlsbad with 0.5" on the ground. The Cloudcroft area picked up generally between 2.5" and 4.8" of snow. Ruidoso saw 3" to 4" also.
