Near Normal Temps In SE NM Over The Next Week.

GFS 2M 8-Day Temp Anomalies.
(Sep 5th - Sept 13th.)

Near seasonal temperatures are forecast for the area this week. Tonight will be the coolest night that we have seen since late this spring. With clear skies, a dry airmass in place, and light winds, our low temps will drop down into the low-mid 50's by sunrise tomorrow morning. A few of the normally colder spots may even see the upper 40's. Our daytime highs will rebound tomorrow and Wednesday and range from 85-90.

Midweek Outlook.

A weak cold front will slip southward and into SE NM Wednesday night. Temps will drop by about 5-10 degrees Thursday and Friday with highs in the low-mid 80's. By the weekend, we can expect to see our highs climb back up into the 90's, with the mid-upper 90's forecast for the first of next week.

The Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction!
