"Maw...I ain't sure...But I thank the dawg wants in."

My wife (Diane) told me this is what Thunder (our male Boxer) told her early this morning when she sent him outside to do his business. You gotta love that rancher/farmer sense of humor.  :)

Brrrr...its cold out there this morning. The Angel Fire Airport is reporting a low temp so far this morning of -30F. Most of southeastern New Mexico will only warm up into the low-mid 40's today. The Sacramento mountain communities are expecting to see highs from near freezing at the higher elevations to near 40 at the lower elevations.

I haven't given up on our next winter storm. I backed off from posting anything on it until the computer forecast models settled down and started making sense with its track and strength. I will have an update posted by around noontime today. This mornings 12Z/5 AM MST runs will be available by around 10 AM, so I will compare them with last nights runs and see what we are looking at from this next inbound winter storm. Hopefully the muddied waters of the computer models forecasts will have cleared up some.
