It Sure Feels Like It This Morning!
It's Just Downright Cold This Morning!
I am a Gas Plant Operator employed at the Indian Basin Gas Plant, owned and operated by Oxy, Inc. I worked a night shift last night at the plant. I spent the better part of the night outside, in the cold and snow. I now have a new appreciation for "Wind Chill Advisories". I don't think I've ever been this cold before! I have a tremendous amount of sympathy for anyone who has to work outside in this mess today. Our highs today will only be in the mid teens (the wind will make it feel like -5F to -15F). Our lows tonight will range from -5 to 10.
Wind Chill Advisories, and a Wind Chill Warning, continue in effect for the local area today, along with a Winter Weather Advisory. Wind Chill values of -5F to -15F will continue to plaque the local area this morning, and again tomorrow morning. We should see another 1" - 4" of additional snowfall today.
