Light Snow Will End This Morning But Cold Today.

I have managed to pick up 1/2" of snow here at my home in Carlsbad, NM as of 6 AM MST this morning. A few flurries continue to fall, but overall the snow should be ending across SE NM by noontime today.

Today will a cold one with our afternoon high temperatures struggling to reach the freezing mark (32F). With clear skies, calm winds, and a cold dry arctic airmass over the area, I think most of us here in SE NM will drop down into the single digits by Thursday morning. Don't be surprised to see a few of the normally colder spots drop below zero.
