Cold This Morning In New Mexico.

Most of southeastern New Mexico did see the first freeze of the season this morning. Some of us did not. My low temp here at the house in Carlsbad was 36°F.

NWS MesoWest Reported Low Temperatures.

Locally the coldest reported low temperature that I could find was 22°F recorded at the Personal Weather Station (PWS) in 16 Springs Canyon, and 22°F at the Personal Weather Station (PWS) located just west of Mayhill. Both stations are located in the southern Sacramento mountains.

The coldest reading I've been able to find in New Mexico was 1°F which was recorded at the Headquarters of the Valles Caldera National Preserve located just west of Los Alamos in northern New Mexico.
