Why Are My Weather Posts Missing From Facebook.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to let you know that my Facebook page was shut down without any warning by Facebook this past Saturday, June 8th. All I was told was that I had violated their community standards. I don't know what triggered that; they didn't tell me. I was told this may be permanent or for six months.
My guess is that it may be because I posted several comments and articles from my Substack page about the riots in LA, and that must have triggered/angered someone, and they complained, thus Facebook shut me down. I don't know this as fact, though. I have appealed this decision, and I'm still waiting for their reply. I have read on X that this has happened to other Facebook users posting about the LA riots as well.
I always share my weather blog posts (that I post here) on my Facebook page and my X page. This included over twelve different New Mexico and West Texas Facebook Community sites. So there are thousands of you out there (based on my views and shares of those posts) who will no longer see those posts. My Facebook page may or may not be restored.
This is another good reason (as the National Weather Service often reminds us) to have multiple ways of receiving severe weather alerts when severe weather threatens your location. My weather web page is one of those ways, and I really appreciate all of you who have and still do use it. Thank you so much!!!
If my Facebook page is restored, I will continue to share my weather blog posts and some of the NWS Watches and Warnings...as I have been doing for years now.

RUC Surface Temp Map At 3 PM MDT.

It has been a hot one this afternoon. As of 5 PM MDT the highest temps reported so far include 106 at the 8-Mile Draw Raws located northeast of Roswell, the Carlsbad Raws on the west side of town, and the Paduca Raws near the WIPP Site. The Roswell Airport ASOS has reached 104, as has the Carlsbad Airport, and my Davis Vantage Pro2 Home Weather Station here in Carlsbad. The Artesia Airport HADS Station is reporting 103 and the Hobbs Airport AWOS 102.

KEPZ GRLevel3 2.0 CR248NM SnapshotvAt 3:59 PM MDT.

KEPZ GRLevel3 2.0 Estimated Storm Total Rainfall.

A couple of high based dry thunderstorms popped up near Ruidoso this afternoon. Sadly it looks like they produced more lightning than rain. The El Paso NWS Doppler Radar (KEPZ) estimated less than .25" of rain fell from the storms. The Smokey Bear Raws in Ruidoso measured .01", as did the IRaws12 at Nogal, and the IRaws15 at Skyline.

A sprawling mid-upper level heat ridge was centered over Oklahoma this morning. It will continue to wobble around the area into the upcoming weekend. This massive ridge of high pressure has effectively put a lid on any chances for rain in the local area. It is keeping the monsoon flow well to our west in Arizona.

High temperatures reported on Monday include-

Paduca Raws - Near the WIPP Site 103
Roswell Airport ASOS 102
Carlsbad Airport ASOS 102
2.1 NNW Downtown Carlsbad 101
Caprock Raws 101
Artesia Airport HCN 100
Hobbs Airport AWOS 99

Hot temps are in store today with forecast highs in the 105 - 109 range expected for SE NM. Similar readings will prevail again Wednesday, and highs in the 100 - 105 range are forecast to continue across the area into at least the first of next week. For now no rain is in our immediate future.
