Another Shot At T-Storms - Hot For The Rest Of The Week.

Today's Forecasts.

GRLevel3 2.00 CR248 Snapshot At 8:20 AM MDT.
(Midland NWS Doppler Radar).

Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms dotted the southeastern plains overnight into this morning. These storms are firing along and behind a weak backdoor cold front that is currently pushing southward through the local area.

Once again we have a slight chance of seeing additional thunderstorms fire up across southeastern New Mexico today into tonight. Our chances for rain are fairly low and stand at 20% today and tonight.

Hot weather will continue to dominate our local headlines today into the weekend. The weak cold front will have little effect in cooling our temperatures down. Forecast highs today into the weekend are expected to be in the upper 90's to the low 100's.
